Art Kits for Children at Shriners Children's Hospital
At Make an Artist Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of art. That's why we're proud to partner with Shriners Children's St. Louis to bring the joy of creativity to hospitalized children.
We provide art kits filled with an assortment of creative materials to senior recreational therapist Laura Teague. These kits are designed to support the healing journey of critically ill and injured children. Each kit includes a vibrant collection of supplies, such as sketchbooks, coloring books, markers, colored pencils, air dry clay, crayons, pastels, and more. All materials are carefully selected to be non-toxic and brand new, ensuring a safe and enjoyable creative experience for every child.
Art therapy can play a vital role in a child's healing process. By providing these art kits, we hope to offer a much-needed escape, encourage self-expression, and bring moments of joy and comfort to children during their hospital stay.
