11 Year Old Creates Amazing Paintings to Help Animal Shelters

Meet Pavel Abramov, a young artist who’s been making the world a little better, especially for stray animals.

At age 8, Pavel decided to start donating his paintings to help animal shelters, providing them food, supplies, and medicine. Pavel started this project called the “Kind Paintbrush,” with the help of his mother Ekaterina Bolshakova about a year ago. Pavel came up with the idea when he lost his dog. As a means of honoring his late companion, he picked up a paintbrush and started accepting commissions for pet portraits.

Pavel knows the names of every pet he paints and often meets them when the painting is finished. He paints based on pet’s photos and is always interested in how owners met their furry family members. Pavel is deeply touched by the heartwarming stories of rescues.
