Art Kits for Hospitalized Children

Make an Artist Foundation is partnered with Shriners Children's Hospital St. Louis and Children's Mercy Kansas City to bring art to hospitalized children.

Art therapy can play a significant role in a child's healing process. Through our Healing Hearts Program, we provide art kits to senior recreational therapist Laura Teague at Shriners Children's St Louis for critically ill and injured children. December 2023, we provided hospitalized children art kits filled with an assortment of creative materials including sketchbooks, coloring books, markers, colored pencils, air dry clay, crayons, pastels, and more. To protect the health and safety of children, all supplies were non-toxic and new.
